We offer diverse swimming lessons, from group to private swim lessons, which are one-on-one teaching sessions with our trained teachers, starting as young as 6 months.
Bear Paddle Swim School is a month-to-month, swim school offering 30-minute swim lessons for kids year-round. Our story-based approach to lessons and free family swim on the weekends makes learning to swim a fun experience for kids 6 months and older.

We offer swim lessons for kids of all ages seven days a week. We make swimming a convenient and consistent part of your student’s routine.
It’s super easy to enroll! Pick a day and time that works best for your family and that is your reserved time until your student moves up a level or your schedule changes.
Our swimming school offers weekly, 30-minute classes for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Most families choose a weekly group lesson, and we also offer additional classes to tailor to your child’s needs. Each program will have your child master safe swimming skills for life.

Progress Tracking
Our swimming school helps your child become a confident swimmer by tracking progress. Each child receives a monthly in-water skill evaluation, followed by a progress report. Our Progress Patch reward system celebrates your child with each new swim skill learned.
Story-based learning
We believe play-based learning keeps kids engaged and having fun. Our story-based approach keeps kids focused on their swim lesson, with new themes every month.
Flexible scheduling
Our monthly curriculum allows you to enroll any time, and allows us the opportunity to graduate your child to the next swim level when they are ready. Plus, every family receives two make-up lessons each month!
Bear Paddle tests the water chemistry of pools before, during, and after every 30-minute shift. This way, we can guarantee compliance with CDC’s guidelines. In terms of disinfection, we use chlorinated water and ultraviolet light to kill 99.99% of disease-causing bacteria and viruses. Moreover, most of our pools utilize Defender Filtration systems powered with Diatomaceous Earth (DE) media.
Due to these filters, we can remove particles up to one micron. For better understanding, red blood cells are approximately 5 microns, so our disinfection systems provide a safe swimming experience for you and your family.
All students are required to bring a towel and a swimsuit. Students under the age of three are also required to wear a disposable or reusable swim diaper. While our facility is completely equipped with the necessary tools for all our swim lessons, children can choose to bring their own goggles if they want.

Group swim lessons are $35 per week and include one 30-minute weekly group swim lesson, one monthly private lesson, Family Swim every weekend, and make-up lessons. You also receive a monthly progress evaluation and progress report.
We recommend signing up for a Complimentary Swim Lesson. Whether you are brand new to swim lessons or coming from another facility, this experience will assess your child’s swim skills to find the right level for them.
Every child gets 2 make-up lessons per month. These are yours to use if you plan to be traveling or if you unexpectedly miss your lesson. Make-up lessons can be scheduled by calling your school, or completing the Make-Up Lesson Request form that gets emailed after your missed class.
